Support Keiajah Brooks
A lot of people ask what they can do to a change system that they believe to be inherently injustice and while I believe most of these people are genuine, I also believe they’re lazy and probably wouldn’t put in the minimal effort. But there are people like Keiajah Brooks and I think we might be good.
On Tuesday, October 27th, Brooks along with other activists took to a public Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners meeting and tore them a new one. Like watch this and how she verbally rips them to shreds (really wish we got shot of their faces)
This is three minutes and fifty four seconds of greatness. I won’t spoil the whole thing but I must point out her opening bars just so you know she did not come to play with these people.
“I’m not nice and I don’t seek to be respectable. I’m not asking yall for anything cause yall can’t and won’t be both my savior and oppressor.”
Ladies and gentleman that’s how you come with the heat. But on a serious note, I’d like to point out that the work Keiajah Brooks does comes from a will and information. She’s a local activist and went to a meeting with info she acquired in her spare time. We can and should all do that.
But. if you can’t, people like Keiajah Brooks have and will and supporting them FINANCIALLY goes a long way.
