Fantasy Football Chronicles

When I first was going to write this I was going to talk about how we’re almost halfway through the fantasy football season and just how crazy it has been due to the impacts of Covid-19. I was going point to AnteUp website and their weekly waiver wire article. It should be noted I’ve been a wizard with the wire (Mike Davis, Chase Claypool & Travis Fulgham). Rather, I’m going to tell you about how I’m in a fantasy league with a bunch of haters who never had to decide between a pass or shot in the final minutes of a sanctioned game.

Probably like my team, your fantasy team has been littered with injuries and because of that you’ve probably had to get creative through waiver pickups and trades.

Well I thought I had pulled off one of the more heady trades, but as I alluded to earlier, guys who’ve never been in a game with a running clock thought it was a bad trade, I guess.

Minus the fact Fulgham is currently on a hot streak and the Philadelphia Eagles have no wide receivers. I had a trade involving a Jaguars players vetoed. So yes I’m hot and honestly I’ve seen it all.

As the second half of the season is set to begin and trade deadlines approach I like to remind all my fantasy league owners of the nasty behavior of haters and that the waiver wire is ultimately and forever will be your only friend.
